of the Maryland Chapter of the American Sewing Guild

We held our cutting session on Saturday, April 14, 2007.  Of the six people who attended, we set up two people each at two cutting tables to cut out the garments and one at another table to rotary-cut strips for the ties and waistband casings.  The sixth person was a runner.  We cut ten top/bottom sets (I cut an additional three top/bottom sets during the testing phase) and then three pants from the leftover fabric.  Everyone took home a top/bottom kit to sew.

On July 2, we sent the following 23 garments to California for delivery to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Sacramento:

Size 1-2:  One top/bottom set
Size 3-4:  Seven top/bottom sets and three pants
Size 5-6:  Two top/bottom sets

Missing from the above count are three sets that will be turned in separately.

Following are pictures from the cut-out session and pictures of the garments sent to California.
One set of size 1-2
Three sets of size 3-4
Four sets of size 3-4
Three pair of size 3-4 pants only
Two sets of size 5-6
