Sewing Workshop "Kinenbi Top"
I made this top from a black and red cross-dyed linen. The panel on the side is from a vintage hand towel that was secured by topstitching that is hidden by the ribbon trim. The acrylic buttons have a white band in the middle that the thread runs through and a band of black on the outside edge. With the red fabric showing through the clear section of the button, they are a perfect complement. An earlier version of the Kinenbi Top made from a tablecloth is at the bottom.
